Four Senators held in Germany after spending their travelling allowances. The Senators were attending a trade conference in berlin. The Conference was called off due to coronavirus risk.




 According to reports, the Senators booked a hotel where they were staying for a week but after the cancellation of the conference, the hotel management refused to refund them. Each was given travel allowances.




Upon reaching Berlin, Germany, things changed as they went for high-end hotels which consumed a bigger part of their travelling allowances.




 The four Senators includes Kirinyaga Senator Charles Kibiru, Lamu Senator Loitiptip Anuar, Bomet Senator Christopher Langat and Nyandarua Senator Mwangi Kithomi. Some alleged to have spent all their per diems before leaving Nairobi to Germany.
