Detectives sermon three Chief Officers from Kilifi and Mombasa over illegal tendering and money laundering

DCI investigates three chief officers from Mombasa and Kilifi counties. The investigation comes after a tip from the public over abuse of office and funds embezzlement.


The said chief officers control more than Sh 100 Million in their accounts believed to be from Tender-kickbacks. One of the Chief officers is constructing a multi-Million apartment in Nyali. According to the insiders, there was no loan but from his pocket.


The said Chief-Officers have been dealing with large donations, construction of several Petrol stations, acquiring beach plots and living in lavish style.


The chief officers have been colluding with MCAs, procurement departments and other county agencies to push for illegal and inflated tenders.
