KEMU, KU and Uzima College banned from offering medical-related courses

 Kenya Methodist Univesity, Kenyatta University and Uzima university college close their medical schools after failed to adhere with the required medical teaching standards.


Uzima University college was forced to transfer its students to another medical college. The Kenya medical body said the school did not have enough facilities for the course. They also did not have enough human resources in ration with the students' number.



The board said the medical schools that are closed is because of the gap between what is needed in the class and what is expected in the world. Mt. Kenya, Musinde Muliro and other top universities in the country were allowed to teach the courses.
