After a series of followups with the Nyeri county Politicians to help to raise Sh 1.3 Million hospital bill to get their kin buried, the mourners resort to fundraising in the Nyeri town.

The family in Nyeri resorted to parading an empty coffin on donkey back in the streets of Nyeri town hoping to raise enough money to bury their kin.

The deceased died over a month ago but has not been tombed owing to a huge medical bill he had accumulated before his demise.

The family of Robert Mbaoni is incapable of raising the needed Ksh.1.3M even after several harambees and appeals to well-wishers and the county political leaders.

Margaret Wanjiru, a daughter of the deceased broke down in tears while trying to explain the pain they have been going through as a family.
