The gorgeous city preacher Monica Nyambura Kibui married to Samuel Gichuki Kariuki narrates how life in marriage is after self-proclaimed Prophetes Monica left the first husband for 13 years before meeting a new sweetheart.

“Having visited almost all Countries in Africa to preach, I settled in Kenya in 2015 and started The Prophetic Hour Ministry in the city centre,” she explains.

Among her followers was Samuel Kariuki, an auditor and real estate manager, who waited and finally emptied his heart out in January 2017.

" Now we have kids with my husband. I don't mind about what people are saying but what my God says. It did not work at first but now it is working. Marriage is about persons' decision and follows the bible advice "

“He used to come to church and supported me, including fasting with me. In 2016, I prayed to God to give me a husband and my church. My first prayer to get a man was answered when he approached me. Initially, I turned down his advances and prayed for three days, " she said.

“When I resurfaced and told him my answer was a big yes, he also vanished for one week to pray. It was not easy. He is young like me and has never been married. On the day he opened his heart to me, he was trembling and sweating.” she added.

“Those who have been trying to tune me were elderly. In 2016, more than 10 men tried their luck but to no avail because we were not connecting. But when Samuel said he wanted to marry me, I was shocked.”

"Being married to a second man is best because you rectify mistakes because of past experience. I'm very happy because my husband understands me better than anyone not even my first husbands did, " she said.
