Ruto shocks BBI mafia in Meru after the unexpected huge following.

After the BBI Meru, Deputy President William Ruto pulled the largest crowd in a sports function compared to BBI rally after attending a church service in Meru. 

The Deputy President William Ruto attended a Church service at Catholic Church of Uganda Martyrs Kibirichia Parish, Buuri, Meru County.

" Sports has an unmatched fascination to young people; it offers an essential platform for talent exploitation, presents a unique opportunity for us to celebrate our diversity, unites the people and helps increase economic prosperity, " he said. 

" We are channelling financial and material support to give sports the much-needed upgrade and help the youth realise their potential, " he added. 

Deputy President presided over the launch of a youth football tournament. He was accompanied by Mt Kenya MPs and Women reps.  

He was the chief guest at the launch of a youth football tournament of 26 teams at the Kibirichia Stadium, Buuri, Meru County.
