WHO boss Tedros Ghebreyesus talks about Africa Covid-19 cases

World Health Organization (WHO) boss Tedros Ghebreyesus says cases of coronavirus being reported in Africa may not be true representation because testing is not robust.


" Africa could have more cases that are not yet mined. Due to limited resources, the continent may remain with the virus for long. Asian countries have sharply reduced the number of infections, " he said.


China has already closed one hospital due to reduced number of Covid-19 infections. The number of infections has reduced and contained rapidly in Wuhan.

Due to limited resources, Africa could be battle the disease worse than the European countries.

Italy is the most hit country in Europe. The United Kingdom and Holland follow with numbers. The Europeans countries according to the current reports are more affected than Africa.
