Brenda and Brian, Coronavirus recoverees appointed as COVID-19 ambassadors in Kenya

Brenda Cherotich and Brian Orinda who are the Coronavirus recoverees are set to pocket Sh 275,000 monthly as Coronavirus ambassadors in Kenya.

The Government, however, wants the duo to help in sensitizing the community over the Coronavirus.  The first patients to recover from the disease will have more impact on the community as described by the CS Health Mutahi Kagwe.


Some legislators said the government is playing with Kenyans mind by portraying a PR picture.  However, the CS Kagwe accused the legislators of letting Kenyans down and politicising the fight against Coronavirus.


Brenda and Brian are tasked to educate Kenyans on the seriousness against the Coronavirus. Kenyans have been ignoring the presence of Coronavirus in Kenya.

Brenda and Brian will be crisscrossing the country, passing the word to the citizens against the coronavirus.
