Governor Hassan Ali Joho secured 10 ventilators from Shaykh Al-Farasi and bought 8 more ventilators from Germany all of them to Coast General and Referral-Provisional Hospital (CGPH) which originally had 12 ventilators.


With a total of 30 ventilators, CGPH now ranked number one as the hospital with the highest number of ventilators in Kenya.


From tomorrow, Mombasa County will begin mass testing for its residents for the COVID 19. The County has secured over 500,000 digital temperature testers and COVID-19 testing kits from donors and local hospitals.

Coast general hospital becomes the first county hospital in Kenya to equip ICUs with sophisticated systems and equipment.


Thereafter it will be compulsory for Mombasa residents to wear face masks in public places. Masks will be provided for free courtesy of the Mombasa County government.

Coast The County is in its final stages to ban transport outside the county. The Governor, however, insists that every action has been planned and only end results are awaiting.
