COVID-19: Joho and Shabhal foundations sponsor Sanitizing Spray Booth Prototype at the Likoni Ferry

Governor Hassan Joho, Hon Mishi Mboko and Hon Suleiman Shahbal tested the Sanitizing Spray Booth Prototype at the Likoni Ferry Terminus jointly sponsored by the Hassan Joho Foundation and the Suleiman Shahbal Foundation.


The Sanitizing spray booth idea was borrowed from a cattle dip mechanism.


" The Booth has sensors that when someone is crossing it sprays and sanitize while hands up, " one of the engineers said.


The booth will help fight the virus at the Likoni ferry channel as well as boosting hygiene by a bigger percentage.

The Sh 700 Million targets by the Mombasa county is almost attained after several boosts from local companies and foundations.


The governor also received donations from the Rotarians and other well-wishers to aid in the war against COVID-19.
