The two Mandera Coronavirus patients travelled through from Kilifi. They travelled through Mombasa, Nairobi, Mwingi and Wajir. 14 people including immediate family of patients in quarantine to be contacted and put to self-quarantine.
In Nakuru, 21 people wanted over contact with COVID-19 patient. People travelled from Mombasa to Nakuru using a Dreamliner bus with the patients urged to report to Police or Quarantine facilities.
" When we take measures, we make decisions that have the desired result, not one targeting specific sectors, " CS Transport James Macharia said.
" Those in the matatu sector should know that we are all in this together…If this pandemic were to wipe out all of us, who will they carry? " he added.
