Kakuyuni MCA Mramba wants DG Saburi to be given second chance not impeachment

Some Kilifi County officials now appeared to defend Kilifi Deputy Governor Gideon Saburi for allegations of abuse of office and endangering innocent residents for exposing them against coronavirus.

Kakuyuni ward MCA Nixon Muramba has criticized the leaders and the public for sacrificing their own. The government mistreated, humiliated him in front of the public he represents.


The leaders are now demanding that the county assembly decide whether disciplinary action will be taken to the county executive or not.


Hon. Muramba said that the county assembly will decide whether to convict him or punish him if he was found guilty.


It is a statement echoed by Gongoni ward MCA Albert Kiraga who emphasized the need for leaders to have mercy on him and be given a second chance to fulfil his role.


Deputy Governor Gideon Saburi was arrested on Friday at Coast General hospital when he was allowed to go home after being confirmed to recover from Coronavirus.
