The Controversial MP added that the Speaker of the national assembly knew that his members were affected by the virus thus postponing the seatings. He urged the Speaker Justin Muturi to help to name the MPs who went to the United Kingdom as well as CS Kagwe to name the Virus-infected MPs.

" We know of British PM, Iran Vice President among others named, why not the Kenyan MPs? Is there something else we don't know? If it is not true, then arrest Standard group boss, Star newspaper boss, People daily(Mediamax)boss, Nation Media and all who published the story for you to redeem and come out clean, " he added.

"Dear CS Mutahi Kagwe. If its true 17 MPs have tested positive for Corona Virus, it is only fair you release the names so that Kenyans who have interacted with them can rush for testing," Kuria stated.

He further argued that on average, lawmakers, by the nature of their duty are capable of infecting up to 3,000 people each and therefore projected the probable infection rate by 17 legislators at 50,000 cases.

However, Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka said that he could not substantiate or refute the allegations.

"You know testing was voluntary and this is very confidential. The doctors gave results to individual members who went for testing. I can only talk about myself because I did the testing here plus my security and my family. I know my results. I am negative, " the speaker said.

"But for the rest of the members who have done the testing, they are being given their results as individuals, so the only person who would know is the individual who was tested and the Ministry of Health. I cannot speculate nor say that this has happened," he explained.

National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi refuted the allegations stating that they were mere fabrications.

“It is not true. Results are given to individual members,” Muturi said.

"If not true, arrest the owners of The Star, Nation, Standard and People Daily as you promised a few days ago," Moses Kuria added.
