Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko gets a relief after the court ruled that Sonko rescue team can continue with its work.

The Governor welcomed the move, and already they have constructed several sanitizer booths and vowed to continue constructing more.

“After yesterday’s High Court ruling, the Sonko Rescue Team is now back with efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic,” the Governor said.

The governor, however, added that his team devotes to serve the people of Nairobi together with the county workers.


“Today we installed sanitizer booths at Kawangware Stage 2 area to help in stopping spread of the virus in Nairobi,” he added.


 "We have already installed sanitizer booths at Machakos Country Bus, Korogocho, Muthurwa area and Buru Buru estate," he added.


“I’m appealing to Nairobians to adhere to all the precautionary measures as outlined by the Ministry of Health to win the fight against coronavirus,” he stated.
