[VIDEO] A buruburu estate woman burns her husband, lifts him to his car and ran away

Detectives pursue a woman who said to have burnt her husband over domestic wrangles. The Woman from Buruburu estate(Phase 5) is said to have used acid and Petrol, poured it on her husband, ignited him.


The woman took her husband bidy and put them inside his car. The showered the dead husband with some liquid before setting blaze. The woman Mrs Ruth Wanjiru is now in a hideout. She is the main suspect. They said the alleged woman is from Kirinyaga county.

It is alleged that the woman got some aid from an unknown people. However, the Police have launched investigations over the matter.

According to some witnesses,they gave contradictory information saying the man was burnt in his car after the alleged wife sprayed some liquid which is yet to be determined. 


" We saw smoke coming out the car. We are not sure of how that happened. She had a basin full of some liquid. Something like acid. There was alot of smoke from the car before flames, ” a neighbour said

Police have launched a manhunt to the woman and urged anyone with information to report to Buruburu police station.



Officer Commanding Police Division Geoffrey Mayek said during the quarantine period couple must exercise tolerance. If things are not working in the marriage, walking out is better than murder.
