[VIDEO] Senegal develops Sh 100 COVID-19 testing kit and Sh 6000 ventilator

Senegal is the only country in Africa with the highest number of recoveries and third in the world. With tiny a budget of Sh 80 Billion, Senegal has developed testing kits for the naval virus and domestic use ventilators.

Senegal has 671 confirmed infected cases with 283 recoveries and 8 deaths.  The country has tested over 500,000 people.

Senegal viral laboratory has used its AIDS and Ebola experience to develop a $1 COVID-19 testing kit and $6 Ventilator which equivalent to Sh 100 bob testing kit and Sh 6000 Ventilator.


The Government said that they have directed all families to buy kits and test for themselves. Only those who will be showing symptoms will be taken to the hospital and their family quarantined.
