The Resident with small businesses we're teargassed by Police officers after trying to force their way into Eastleigh.




The people were reportedly entangled at Mlango Kubwa, an estate that borders Eastleigh.




They were going to the business area to look for abject jobs while others heading to hawk their goods.




However, Eastleigh has been on partial lockdown for over 15 days now after it was spotted as a coronavirus hotspot.




Health CS Mutahi Kagwe on Wednesday lengthened the cessation in and out of Eastleigh until June 6 in a bid to combat the spread of the novel COVID-19.




Consequently, restaurants, malls and mosques will remain closed during this period. Hawking activities were also banned.
