Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has ignored his alleged removal by Ford-Kenya’s National Executive Council saying the NEC was fake.

Speaking at  Television, Senator Wetangula said the officials’ meeting was illegal and some purported officials do not exist in the party.

 

He asserted that some of the officials were detained illegally at a hotel near the Arboretum in Nairobi and participated in the unlawful meeting. 

He added that the officials who organized his purported removal will be punished. 

Senator Wetangula added that the party’s Secretary-General Eseli Simiyu has been suspended and replaced by Chris Wamalwa. 

 “This party is a bastion of democracy…we had already set a date for the NEC and anybody who wants to run for any seat should fill their papers and wait for the date for the elections at the Bomas of Kenya,” said Wetangula.
