Kenyan human right activist and a blogger Mutemi Kiama arrested by DCI allegedly for digital pirating of a book.
It's not clear about his charges but the Police will update his family after processing. He was taken to Capitol Police station.
Kenya is on the path of riding back to the dark days. The said detectives did not any warrant of arrest or any identifications.
The Law seems to have been thrown out of the Window and Kenya has become someone's personal entity.
He was sandwiched to an unknown police station. Later, activist Boniface Mwangi tracked and revealed the location.
"We are at Capitol Police Station where @MutemiWaKiama is being held. He was picked by @DCI_Kenya from his house. He has been booked for “digital pirating of a book.” I have no idea what that means, " he posted

The police must follow all the laws of Kenya just like you and me. People’s homes are private places and cannot be open to @NPSOfficial_KE . The police therefore have to obtain valid arrest/search warrant from the Magistrate. #ReleaseKiama #FreeMutemi pic.twitter.com/h0fGJluqvM— KHRC (@thekhrc) June 9, 2020
