Financial documents shows 12 percent growth at Centum group report.

The company has maintained the 2018/2019 dividend rates. The company has awarded it's investors despite facing the naval virus pandemic.

Centum Group has maintained its shareholder pay out at Ksh. 1.20 per dividend or a combined Ksh. 798 million after securing a 12 percent growth in the year ending March 31.

The Group’s net profit hit Ksh. 4.6billion, Ksh.4.1 billion was from the significant gains after selling its holdings in Nairobi Bottlers and Almasi Beverages in 2019.

“We have retained the dividend policy to pay the higher dividend from the last year or 30 percent of annuity income. We think this is a good dividend and we will be enhancing this pay out as we will not be carrying liabilities on debt servicing going forward,” said Centum Group CEO James Mworia

“We had expected a more significant decline but still averaged sales of 24 units a month in April and May from the usual 40. We have seen some recovery so far in June,” said James Mworia.
