Deputy President William Ruto meets western region MPs after meeting party leaders

Deputy President William Ruto meets all Western region MPs from all the parties apart from ODM as at his office. The move is said to solidify his ambition in 2022.


DP Ruto meets ANC, Independent and Ford-Kenya MPs from Western Kenya. The move is to be an indication that he will work with ANC leader Musalia Madavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula.


However, it is not immediately revealed the results of the meeting but insiders say, the Deputy President has been galvanising support from different regions.


Just a week after the deputy President met the RiftValley MPs at his home at Surgoi before meeting the Talai elders.



The DP has been meeting with different groups of leaders from different regions including using proxies to meet and discuss developments and his ambition in 2022.


It is reported that DP Ruto met Jubilee Governors at a separate meeting at the statehouse after the President Uhuru Kenyatta meeting with Governors.


The secret meeting was later joined by President Uhuru Kenyatta. Its agendas of the meeting have not been disclosed.
