| Jaguar arrested over incitement. |
Hon Charles Njagua (Jaguar) of Starehe constituency arrested immediately after addressing the Gikomba traders.
He was arrested on Monday on allegations of incitement.
The legislator is accused of influencing traders to forcibly occupy the new Mwariro Market stalls, Nairobi Region Police Commander Philip Ndolo said.
He was arrested for allegedly inciting youth as well. The member of Parliament was addressing the public about the unfortunate incident that took place at Gikomba Market
" I'm currently at Nairobi Area. The charges against me are unclear though they seem connected to Mwariro Market, " he said.
" I'll keep fighting for my constituents. Being a leader is tough but my resolve remains unshaken. Allocations at Mwariro Market have to be fair, " he added.
