Towards the end, the government will support the church in coming up with various income-generating activities to help them run their social programmes.

The government is keen on re-opening sections of the economy as it battles the spread of the naval virus.  The meeting came after the Church elders and Imams held a meeting with the Health CS Mutahi Kagwe and Interior CS Fred Matiangi.
