Makutano, Meru equity bank branch closed after a police officer collapsed and died instantly

Administration Police officer of the rank of a corporal who was guarding equity bank Makutano, Meru Town in Meru County develops breathing problems, collapsed and died immediately.


The Makutano equity bank branch has been shut definitely and customers who were inside and staff have been taken to a quarantine facility.


The cause of death is yet to be determined. People have been urged to stay calm and follow all Ministry of Health guidelines. 


Meru county commissioner Mr Allan Machari confirmed the incidents and urged the resident to adhere to the laid out measures.
