President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga will be visiting Murang'a and some parts of Central Kenya in the coming months as reported from the statehouse.

The visits will be for solidifying the handshake in the Presidents' region.

Murang'a Woman representative Sabina Chege had to kneel down, cried and plead to the residents not to shame her during the visit.

The move comes after a section of the residents in the region threatened to heckle the duo when they visit the area.

The woman rep from the region asked locals to support the union as they could see it be as difficult as selling ice to Eskimos.

While addressing locals at Kenol, the legislator fell to her knees to convince her constituents to support the Uhuru-Raila union.

She even warned locals that failure to support the two could lead them to the opposition. She appealed to residents to warmly welcome the duo whenever they visit the area.
