Safaricom partners with Google to launch #LipaMdogoMdogo on 4G phones across all Safaricom branches in Kenya.
To sign up, simply dial *544#, go to the device financing menu and check your qualification criteria.
Once you’ve confirmed your qualification, visit your nearest Safaricom Shop where you will be requested to pay a down payment of 1,000.
Thanks to this initiative, the “Neon Ray Pro”, a 4G Android (Go edition) smartphone that originally retails for Ksh 5,999, can now be purchased by making a down payment of Ksh 1000 and subsequently a daily payment of Ksh. 20.
Some people already have purchased and have been experiencing positive growth in their respective business. Their has been efficiency and increased productivity on the usage of the 4G phone.

“These smartphones have helped us immensely especially in our business. I can inform my customers of new products, process and deliver the orders through online communication and use Google maps to send deliveries right to their doorstep” an online businessman Mr Samuel Dumia says.
"Making orders from the farm has also become easier as the farmer takes photos of the product and shares them with me on WhatsApp for me to place the orders that I want, " he added.
"This flexible payment plan represents an 85% reduction in the upfront cost and is significant for a large segment of the population that earns their wages daily, " Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa says.
