The majority of the gamblers have been asking themselves about Sportpesa comeback in Kenya.

According to the latest reports from the CEO Ronald Karauiri, the management at the Pevans has changed after President Uhuru Kenyatta cousin and businessman Peter Muiruri acquired the company.

The Sportpesa company has undergone massive managerial changes at its Liverpool headquarters in the United Kingdom.

Kenya did not ban Sportpesa.
The management decided to shut down its operations.  Due to controversial taxes, Sportpesa relocated it service to Tanzania and Uganda.

Owners of Sportpesa

Former chairman of the Kenya Airline Pilots Association (KAPA) Ronald Karauri, businessman Paul Wanderi Ndung'u and Asenath Wachera Maina, who rocked behind the controversial 'Shinda Smart' and 'Shinda Ndege' lotteries are the owners of Sportpesa.

However, their chairman Mr Paul Wanderi was toppled by Mr Peter Kihanya after buying over 60 Percent of shares between February and May 2020.

Paybill

However, Sportpesa infrastructure and assets are still intact in Kenya.  The Pay-bill was deactivated but not suspended as others say.

" We still have hopes for opening back our business in Kenya. Now President Uhuru Kenyatta has seen what we were talking about. We will open our business as soon as possible this year, "  CEO Mr Karauri said.

" We had a company restructure. We are now good to go. We acquired a new manpower. "
