Buganda Kingdom Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II congratulates Raila for Africa integration effort

ODM boss Raila Odinga receives the Kabaka[Mutesa] of the Buganda Kingdom, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, at his Capitol Hill office on Saturday morning.


However, Raila said the two swapped opinions on historical, cultural, educational and trade relations that connect East Africans.


"We also addressed the demand for the faster regional alliance," he said on Twitter.

Mutebi joined President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday at State House.

"The Head of State and the visiting cultural leader discussed subjects of mutual interest among them the central role of culture in regional integration and peaceful communal co-existence," State House said.


Kabaka is the authority of the king of the Buganda Kingdom.


 According to the customs of the Baganda, they are ruled by two kings, one spiritual and the other secular.
