Ford Kenya Party suspends two rebel MPs and nominated ward representative indicating disciplinary issues.

The party’s National Executive Council(NEC) on Monday, August 17, shown the door for Tongaren MP Eseli Simiyu, Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi, and a Busia ward representative Cynthia Mutere.

The NEC and Ford Kenya Parliamentary Group all recommended the suspensions to be effected by the General Council but upheld the move.

The statement signed by the acting Secretary-General Millicent Abudho warned Ford-Kenya members and supporters not to undertake or engage with the trio on any party matters.

The party organs also proposed to assemble for the General Council and the National Delegates Congress before the end of the year.
