Migori Police arrest their fellow officer has for purportedly defiling a 4-year-old girl at Komomange village in Kuria West, Migori County.
Kuria West Sub-county Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo announced the officer identified as Harrison Joseph who disappeared since the incident transpired on July 24, 2020, was arrested on Saturday evening.
The incident happened at around 6 pm on July 24 and it was reported to Kehancha police station on the same day.
The police commander continued that defiled was treated at Kehancha Sub-county Hospital and later discharged.
The suspect is confined at Kehancha police station expecting to be arraigned in court on Monday.
The case of the said police officer comes between mounting numbers concerning cases of child abuse in Kuria region.
