Kilifi Political leaders are now contemplating to channel their woes on a locally based party after blocked to attend ODM chief Raila Odinga meetings in Mombasa.

Top officials in the county are now considering a move from the longtime supported party in Kilifi.


Word has it that potential players in the party have not taken the matter lightly and are considering the next course of action.

Mombasa counterparts are said to be ahead of the 2022 gameplan. Already the two longtime friends Governor Amason Kingi and Governor Ali Hassan Joho their friendship blinking red.


According to reports, the party hierarchy embarked on a blame game, pointing fingers at a senior official for failing to mobilise and for his patronising attitude.


The county political juniors are said to be worried about dark clouds hanging over the shilling and waning trust.

Raila Odinga on the two-day tour at the coast visited Kwale, Mombasa and Taita Taveta.
