Mwiki woman,42, dies in lodging with her brother in law

A 42 years Old Nairobi woman dies after spending a night at a famous lodge with her brother-in-law.


The lady who hails from Mwiki-Kasarani passed away on arrival at Kenyatta National Hospital on Thursday morning.


Police records show that her brother-in-law, a 45-year-old from Taita travelled from Malindi on Wednesday headed to Nairobi.


On arrival in the city on the same day at around 7.30 pm, he met up with the woman and booked lodging at Graceland hotel along Dubois Road where they spent the night.


According to the documents filed at the Central Police Station, on Thursday morning, the woman developed difficulties in breathing and started coughing the proceeded with vomiting.


The man took a taxi and raced her to Kenyatta National Hospital where she was declared dead on arrival and the matter reported at the KNH police post OB14/24/9/2020.


The deceased is being stored at KNH facility mortuary waiting for autopsy as the detectives investigates the possible cause of her death.
