Ruth Ouma, the wife of the drug lord and cartel Tom Ouma arrested

 

DCI Detectives from the Transnational Organized Crime Unit arrests Ruth Ouma, the wife to famous trafficker Tom Ouma.

 

Ms Ouma was arrested in Roysambu, Nairobi following a warrant of arrest published by the JKIA lawcourts Chief Magistrate.

 

The suspect disappeared after the arrest of her husband in early august.

 

The arrest is linked to the confiscating of 368.5 kilograms of bhang worth Ksh.11M on the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway in early August.

 

The arrest comes after her husband seized with drugs worth millions by a combined effort from different detective units.

 

" Tom Ouma Aero; a famous drug trafficker who has been operating with impunity in Nairobi was arrested by a combined team of detectives from
 Transnational Organised Crime Unit(TOCU), Special Services Unit(SSU) and Anti Narcotics Unit(ANU) detectives from his hideout in Utawala, " DCI posted.
