Kenyan MPs now are set to join the Jerusalema craze dance next Wednesday when they shoot their version of the challenge.

Majority Leader Amos Kimunya notified the MPs to turn up in huge numbers not only for the shoot on Wednesday but also for rehearsal on Monday and Tuesday.

Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo, one of champions of the Jerusalema challenge, revealed that it has become a theme song for the COVID-19 pandemic and illustrates peace in diversity.

Netizens, however, had their views on the Jerusalema challenge.

"Never sat down and listened to that Jerusalema song, I only hear it off people, don't even who sang it. When people flock into something , I become very disinterested, " a netizen said.

"We have become lovers of foreign things that we easily dance to the tune of foreign music while our own dedicated and hardworking local artists wallow in the miasma of abject poverty. No musical instruments, no studios to record their songs, no empowerment, " netizen added.

"It will be all fun until you hear that Sh10 billion was spent on Jerusalema. Trust Kenya MPs, they might travel to SA for the shoot, " another added.
