A Kisumu controversial preacher Father John Pesa claims his life is in danger after visiting Sugoi, the home of the Deputy President William Ruto.

Father Pesa has been the point of ridicule on social media platforms after he made an incorrect source to an incident in the Bible alleged that he has been receiving death threats over the visit.

Father John Pesa says he has received several phone calls and messages from people who want to take away his life.

Father Pesa reported that some unfamiliar people have also been thronging his church and threatening to kill him if he does not give them the money he got from Sugoi.

He said that he did not receive any money from Ruto as did his Christian duty of going wherever God calls.

“They told me to provide the money Ruto gave me a failure to which they would kill me. I wonder why someone would threaten to kill me.  I did not get a cent from the visit. I did not see any money,” said Pesa.

He says that he has since reported to Kisumu Central and Kondele Police stations.

However, Father Pesa said he was ready to die.

With the same inspiration, the cleric said that he went to pray for the servant of God, referring to the Deputy President.

He urged people to stop saying that they are going to Ruto to get money referring to him as a hustler.

“Where will a hustler get money from?” he posed, saying that Ruto started with rearing chicken.

He responded to various feelings about the remarks he made in Sugoi that "Solomon killed Goliath who later fell on his side with a thud," saying it was because of his old age.
