Lawyer Paul Gicheru who surrendered to Dutch officials on Monday may have prepared his surrender since 2019. 



According to sources, it is revealed that the lawyer began relocating his children to the United Kingdom last year perhaps in zeal for the submission.


There is speculation that Gicheru may make a deal with the International Criminal Court, which would lead to resumed charges against Deputy President William Ruto and journalist Joshua Sang.


The sources at The Hague, Gicheru is still in Police custody as the court prepares his pre-trial by Wednesday evening.


ICC accuse lawyer Gicheru of unlawful practices by bribing witnesses and threatening them. He is also a suspect for offence regarding criminal justice.
