Drama and Turmoil hit Kiamaciri Police Station in Mwea, Kirinyaga County where class eight pupils from Kagio Primary School were demanding the arrest of one of their teachers.

The agitated boys and girls accused the specified teacher of defilement.

“The school administration warned us against reporting the matter… even our deputy headteacher told us we will not receive our certificates if we report,” one of them said.

Their parents led by Mary Wambui, shocked after they were alerted by Police to pick their children at the station at around 8 pm.

The pupils told the OCS that the male teacher has been touching their private parts and even demanding to sleep with them.

However, after contacting the school administration, the school headteacher had been already transferred to another school.

“He was last seen in the school compound two weeks ago,” the pupils said.

Five pupils– a boy and four girls– recorded statements and the suspect were later arrested.

Mwea West Sub-County boss Aden Alio said an investigation is underway.
