DP Ruto ally Garissa legislator Anab Subow Gure under siege as Police contingent surrounds her home

Deputy President William Ruto ally Garissa Women Representative Anab Subow Gure security has been withdrawn. 

According to her, the security was withdrawn in the morning and then another set of officers re-instated back in the Evening. 

At the night of Friday, 18th December 2020 another 20 more officers were deployed to her residence in an unclear circumstance.


"My security detail has been withdrawn today and recalled back under unclear conditions. A contingent of police officers has also been seen in and around my estate the better part of today. Even if you withdraw my security, I have Allah The Almighty to protect me against any harm, "  she said.

However, reports reveal that she is allegedly linked to a trip to Somali which resulted in broken Kenya and Somalia ties.


"I cannot be intimidated nor coerced by anybody. I am available and can be summoned at any time of the week but not intimidations and arm-twisting. We’re not in a police state. Kenya is a sovereign country, " she added.
