Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria photo

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria rejects plans for succeeding Mike Sonko saying it is untrue.

The MP said the posters that surfaced online and going viral is a fabrication of Kieleweke propagandist who wants to destroy his name.

In a WhatsApp message the conversation, the lawmaker was asked if he would resign as Gatundu South MP and replied "yes."

However, Kuria now says there was no interview in place. He was not willing to surrender his seat for Nairobi. He added that his vote is in Gatundu and was not willing to transfer his vote.

The legislator said he is not interested in vying as Nairobi's Governor at the moment.

In the poster that has since gone viral, Kuria is captured asking Nairobians to vote for him as the next governor on a People's Empowerment Party ticket.
