Kenya Hakuna Matata hitmaker Teddy Kalanda appeals for help to fund restorative spinal cord surgery

Jambo Bwana, Hakuna Matata Musician Teddy Kalanda Harrison appeals for help from Kenyans for his restorative surgery to avoid possible chances of being paralyzed from his waist downwards.



The Songwriter and Veteran Musician has a problem with Backbone and appeals for aid to help bail out his life.

Mr Kalanda Harrison has been restrained to a wheelchair since 2017 and sojourned in the hospital for two months.


Hakuna Matata song placed the country as an island of peace, promoting the tourism sector in the country.

He formed the band called the Mushrooms. They have promoted the country internationally.

In 1994 Elton John released a song to be used in the Lion King Film ‘Hakuna Mata’ though other than acquiring the title it carries no connection to the Harrison song.


Teddy Kalanda and his family are anticipating the Government and Kenyans will listen to his appeal.
