Nairobi MCAs in Kwale have moved to Police station over rights abuse

 

Over 60 MCAs to lodge complaints in Kwale over infringing privacy after MCAs allied to Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko allege that ICT officials at the Nairobi county assembly logged in to their accounts and voted on their behalf.



The MCAs are now seeking justice at Kwale Police Headquarters to launch investigations on the matter.

Over 60 Nairobi county MCAs allied to Governor Mike Sonko file complaint with Kwale Police over impersonation of their emails in impeachment plot by assembly clerks.

It has now emerged that 19 MCAS who were in Kwale voted YES at the Nairobi County assembly to bring the total number of votes to 88.

At least 82 MCAs were required to support the motion for it to achieve the required two thirds majority threshold.
