Wife of Malindi Town MCA David Kadenge, Racheal Kadenge electrocuted, dies instantly

The wife of Malindi Town Ward MCA David Kadenge, Racheal Kadenge dies after being electrocuted at her home.


Witnesses she was running an electric sewing machine when she touched live wires. She died on the spot.


The deceased was taken to the Malindi Star Hospital mortuary.


Relatives, allies and colleagues were in shock over the sudden death. They flocked the Malindi Star hospital in scepticism at the accident.


MCAs Adamson Mwathethe(Shela Ward), Sammy Ndago (Shimo la Tewa), Nixon Mramba (Kakuyuni) were amongst the first to comfort their bereaved partner at the Star Hospital.


Mwathethe called on Kenya Power to examine the matter and assure the family is recompensed for the loss.


Many people have lost their lives from electric defects in Malindi and called on the officials to find a permanent solution.


“We are still in shock. She is said to have been in good health but had an accident,” Mwathethe said.


 Michael Kadenge said his brother had called him and notified him of the death.


He asked Kenya Power to come to clear and tell the family what prompted the death of his sister-in-law.
