Jubilee will not field candidates in the upcoming by-elections at Matungu, Machakos and Kabuchai due to handshake.

The by-elections will be left to Ford-Kenya, Wiper and ODM to spearhead.

However, ward by-elections will have Jubilee candidates across the country.

" We are in a handshake reign. We cannot undermine other political parties. They are in BBI. They will take the top seats as we field the ward level by-elections, " Jubilee party secretary General Raphael Tuju said.

" The certificates had already been given to the party candidates ahead of the by-elections, " he added.

" Matungu, Machakos and Kabuchai by-election adhere to the BBI and handshake status, " he added.

David Were will flag ODM party at Matungu. ODM unveiled the former legislature as the flagbearer for the upcoming by-election.

" We are ready for Matungu by-election and our candidate will emerge as the winner, " said Kakamega Governor and ODM deputy leader Wycliffe Oparanya.
