Murang'a county is the latest where its leadership decamped to the DP William Ruto allied Jubilee section.

The move comes after Senator Irungu Kang'ata letter to the President that pointed out the difficulty in selling BBI in Mt. Kenya.

Now after trying to sell the BBI, some Governors have seen the difficulty while other decamp after receiving harsh inception in the Mt Kenya region.  


"Mt. Kenya region has shown relentless effort to support DP William Ruto 2022 presidential bid. To avoid confusion and misunderstanding, Mt. Kenya is William Ruto stronghold as we speak, and it's very risky for any leader to go against the wishes of the people, " said Murang'a Governor Mwangi wa Iria.

"Every time we sell BBl in Mt.Kenya the people ask us to bring William Ruto. It had been really hard selling BBl in our region without Ruto," said Sabina Chege.

Now all Murang'a county leaders have decamped. The MPs, the Governor, Senator and Women Representative have moved to the wheelbarrow movement.
