President Uhuru Kenyatta now publicly discussed the fallout between him and impeached Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko in a Kikuyu radio interview.

President Uhuru admits that he induced Sonko's removal from office because he had become identical with continuous fights with everyone, everything in Nairobi had crumbled at some point because of his leadership style.

The head of State accepted helping the former governor secure the key seat but instead, he was "doing nothing".

In an interview that aired across several Kikuyu language radio stations on Monday, he also praised Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) Director-General Mohammed Badi.

President Uhuru Kenyatta praised the Nairobi NMS boss saying he had shown Nairobians that government delivers if spearheaded by committed leadership.

"NMS will be opening seven hospitals in Nairobi in the coming weeks," he noted.

EX-Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has been in constant fight criticizing the Uhurus administration after his removal through social media handles.
