Kisii High School student Isaya Flora, 17, charged with attempted murder at the Kisii Court

 

The Form Three student at Kisii High School who attempted murder of two teachers, in the school has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder charges.

Isaya Flora was arraigned at the Kisii Law Courts before Senior Resident Magistrate Stephen Njoro on Wednesday.


He was charged that on January 12, 2021, within school premises stabbed two teachers.


Mr Edwin Mokaya was severely wounded while Mr Elvis Maoto endured with minor cuts.


The 17-year-old student denied the charges and was released on a cash bail of Ksh. 50,000 or bond of Ksh. 100,000.

He was transferred to remand at Manga Juvenile Home.

The case will be mentioned on January 27, 2021.
