KRA promise to go for Social media influencers who will fail to pay the Digital Service Taxes.

Social Media influencers have been using the platform to sell and promote products, later sold as they get a commission.

KRA introduced Minimum tax for small businesses and Digital tax for online businesses.

Online influencers requested to pay at least 1.5 Percent of their service charge to KRA plus 1 Percent of their small physical businesses.

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced that all influencers doing business on digital platforms will have to pay the newly introduced Digital Service Taxes (DST).

The Government set to begin a crack on online influencers who fail to submit their DST on time.
