The Interior Ministry says mass printing of Huduma Namba cards has started.
The controversial government project began in 2019 hit with mixed reactions.
However, the government did not tone down its quest for automated service delivery.
The Huduma cards will help in integrating services offered by the state.
The interior Ministry posted on its Twitter handle that people will be notified for the cards when ready.

They will also be notified when and where to get them.
"Mass printing of Huduma Namba cards is underway. If you registered, you will soon receive an SMS notification prompting you when and where to collect yours," stated on Twitter handle.
