MP Aisha Jumwa and Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya unveils KADU ASILI party ahead of 2022 polls

As Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi and Mombasa Counterpart thinking of coming with a Political party in six months, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa, Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya and Kilifi North MP Owen Baya flag their new party KADU ASILI.



There move has caught the Mombasa and Kilifi governors pants down as they talked of a local party without success. 



KADU ASILI has already identified candidates across three counties namely Kwale, Kilifi and Tana River. 



Talks ongoing to snatch Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo, Jomvu MP Badi Twalib and  Nyali MP Mohamed Ali. 

 

On the list include Kaloleni MP Paul Katana, Rabai MP William Kamoti, Lungalunga MP Khatib Mwashetani, MP Benjamin Tayari, MP Feisal Abdulrahman among others.



Already in Kilifi county, the party has a massive following which is a threat to Governor Amason Kingi new party which is yet to be unveiled.



There is no doubt that she will use KADU Asili for her local power acquisition. 



She has declared her ambition of going for Kilifi county top seat using the KADU ASILI ticket. 



Plans underway to have Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya be the party leader deputised by Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa.

Other Members declared to run for positions include Ken Nyale, Ken Kazungu, Eliud Kalama, Anania Mwaboza among others.
