MUTV in Africa

English Premier League(EPL) top club Manchester United signed a partnership deal with digital television firm StarTimes to gives access to MUTV for their Africa fans.


StarTimes will exclusively broadcast Manchester United content to over 30 countries in Africa including Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and Nigeria.



MUTV is a top football club TV channel in the world that airs first-team games, player interviews, managers’ press conferences and club documentaries among other contents.



“We are proud to have hundreds of millions of enthusiastic fans in Africa and this long-term agreement will allow them to get nearer to the club through MUTV’s exclusive, round-the-clock content from Old Trafford and the AON Training Complex,” said Phil Lynch, Chief Executive of Media at Manchester United.



“MUTV is one of our most significant channels for interlocking with fans around the world, whether through linear or direct-to-consumer streaming platforms, and we are delighted to be significantly increasing its reach through our new partner, StarTimes, in Africa.”
